30th Anniversary Celebrations
04 December 2007
This year NJC celebrates 30 years of successful publication. NJC was first published (under the title Nouveau Journal de Chimie ) in January 1977 as a forum for the publication of research that would arouse interest beyond that of specialists in a restricted domain. The goal, which was to permit understanding, dialogue and mutual enrichment among chemists of different specialities, remains the same today.
To mark the event, NJC will be publishing special anniversary papers throughout 2007. The first one, by Jerry Atwood and colleagues introduces a series of papers on zinc - the 30th element of the periodic table.
