Call for Papers: Integrative Biology
11 July 2008
Integrative Biology is now accepting original research papers and reviews from all areas of the chemical sciences relating to quantitative biosciences from nano to macro. The journal provides a unique venue for elucidating biological processes, mechanisms and phenomena through quantitative enabling technologies at the convergence of biology with physics, chemistry, engineering, imaging and informatics.
The following papers are a selection from those accepted for publication in the first issue:
- Genome-wide transcriptome analysis of 150 cells samples - Mehmet Toner et al
- Analysis of aptamer sequence activity relationships - Doug Kell
- Elucidation of Single Hematopoietic Stem Cell Fate in Artificial Niches - Helen Blau et al
- Human mammary progenitor cell fate decisions are products of interactions with combinatorial microenvironments - Mina Bissell
- Manipulation and integration of biological samples using micro and nano techniques - Jaime Castillo & Winne Svendsen
Published monthly, the journal will contain a mix of primary research papers and reviews. All submitted articles will be subject to rigorous peer-review by experts in the field.
- The first issue will appear in January 2009
- The current issue will be freely available to all readers via the website
