Issue 6, 2006 of the Journal of Environmental Monitoring features selected papers presented at the 2nd Symposium on Beryllium Particulates and their Detection, held in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA 8th-9th November, 2005.  The aim of this conference was to discuss recent advances in Beryllium analysis with a view to reducing potential health risks and the occurrences of chronic beryllium disease.
