RSC Publishing honours five distinguished scientists at ISMSC

Come and join Sarah Thomas, editor of ChemComm, Rob Eagling, editor of Chem Soc Rev, Vikki Allen, editor of Organic & Biomolecular Chemistry, and Marie Cote, assistant editor of NJC at the IV joint International Symposium on Macrocyclic & Supramolecular Chemistry (ISMSC). The meeting will take place in Maastricht from 21st - 25th June 2009. RSC Publishing will be holding a special event at a sponsored poster session at ISMSC for five distinguished scientists: Javier de Mendoza, Roeland Nolte, Julius Rebek, Jean-Pierre Sauvage and Seiji Shinkai. Having supported RSC Publishing over the last 40 years, and published between them over 220 articles in RSC journals, RSC Publishing is delighted to celebrate their work at this meeting. The poster session will take place on:

Don't miss issue 2 of NJC. This is a themed issue dedicated to Jean-Pierre Sauvage and contains a selection of papers on mechanically interlocked molecular architectures. Jean-Pierre has been closely connected to NJC, serving on the editorial board from 1998 to 2002, and then on the advisory board for another 4 years. He has been a long time supporter of NJC, having published nearly 50 papers in the journal since 1977.
