The use of commercial, disposable screen-printed electrodes functionalised via the reduction of an aminophenol diazonium salt, for the selective oxidation of ascorbic acid is reported. The dynamic linear range is 2–20 M, and a limit of detection of 0.86 M was obtained with an excellent reproducibility (RSD% = 1.98, n = 8).
