The RSC journal Chemistry Education Research and Practice (CERP), is pleased to announce its acceptance for the ISI Web of Knowledge®, the online platform that provides web linking and citation searching facilities. The move will dramatically increase the journal's visibility.

'The inclusion of Chemistry Education Research and Practice in the Citation Indexes testifies to the sustained high quality of the journal and its importance to research into chemistry education,' says Stephen Breuer, joint editor. 'We expect this to result in a further increased flow of high quality contributions from all parts of the world to a mutual enhancement of the reputations of both the journal and its contributors.'

CERP is published every quarter. In addition to the regular issues, there is a themed issue every year dealing with a particular aspect of chemistry education. The journal is freely accessible online, including a forward linking service, which allows readers to search for related articles. CERP will appear in the Citation Indexes shortly, and in June 2009 readers and contributors can expect to see its impact factor published for the first time.
