Nanoscale at ChinaNano
07 October 2009
From 1-3 September 2009 in the Beijing International Convention Center, China, over 1500 delegates gathered for the third biennial ChinaNano conference, organised by the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology (NCNST).
New journal Nanoscale, intended to showcase important and high quality nano-research and published in collaboration with NCNST, was delighted to hold its launch reception as part of this prestigious meeting.

Editors-in-Chief Professor Chunli Bai and Professor Markus Niederberger cut the Nanoscale cake with Managing Editor Philip Earis. |
In his welcome address, Professor Chunli Bai thanked everyone for attending and encouraged them to continue supporting Nanoscale in the future. Since the initial launch announcement in March, the journal has met with an overwhelmingly positive response from the scientific community, with over 270 manuscript submissions in the period from April to the beginning of September.
The inaugural issue, now freely available online, is packed with high-impact and multidisciplinary research of the highest quality from some of the very best research groups in the field.
Why not submit your next paper to Nanoscale, the most exciting new journal in the field.
