Joanne Thomson

Joanne grew up in Banchory, Scotland. After receiving a MChem in Chemistry with Industrial Experience from the University of Edinburgh, she spent two and a half years working for Merck, Sharp and Dohme as a medicinal chemist specialising in neuroscience research. She joined the RSC as a trainee Assistant Editor on Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics and Faraday Discussions in 2006. Joanne now works as Assistant Editor on ChemComm, Organic & Biomolecular Chemistry and Natural Product Reports and is Editor of Chemical Technology. In her spare time, Joanne enjoys running, karate and cooking.
