In June 2007, the RSC signed a five-year International Cooperation Agreement (ICA) with the Sociedade Brasileira de Química (SBQ) in Brazil.

The RSC has good links with South America, and especially with Brazil.

Through the ICA we hope to build on this to help support chemical scientists across the world.
