Education Division
The Education Division promotes the study and dissemination of knowledge of chemical education at all levels.
The Division has 9 Regions and 4 Specialist Interest Groups. The Education Division Regions organise regionally based activities focused on local initiatives and interests. Many of the activities are organised in partnership with other organisations.
In addition, the Division has three Awards and one Prize
It has a fund for travel grants and also a scheme for education researchers to enable attendance at conferences on the subject in the USA.

General Meeting of the Education Division
There will be a General Meeting of the Education Division at 16.15 on Friday 25 September 2009. Members entitled to vote are invited to the meeting to be held in the Fish Room, Royal Society of Chemistry, Burlington House, Piccadilly, London W1J 0BA. An Agenda for the General Meeting follows and a proxy voting form for members who cannot attend the meeting in person.
The meeting is called to propose alterations to the Education Division Rules to bring them into line with other Divisions and Fora. The key changes are: to reduce from ten to two, the number of signatories required to support the nomination of a member to vacancies on Education Division Council; and to extend the period of office of the President (Chair) from two years to three years.
