American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) International Directory of Testing Laboratories
Provides an on-line full text search engine for the services and locations of international testing laboratories, the majority of those listed are in the USA. The laboratories have provided the information on the types of tests carried out, materials analysed and other services offered. ASTM has not attempted to investigate, rate, endorse, approve or certify any laboratory. Each laboratory has paid ASTM a fee for their listing.
Association Of Consulting Chemists And Chemical Engineers (ACC&CE)
A non-profit membership organisation serving the chemical consulting needs of prospective clients and its members since 1928. They host a membership directory listing qualified consultants.

Chemical & Industrial Consultants Association (CICA)
A UK-based network of independent consultants specialising in the application of chemistry in industry. Each CICA member has long experience at senior management or research level. The current details of each consultant are given in the register.
Chemical Consultants Network (CCN)
Established in 1994, the CCN is jointly supported by AIChE AND American Chemical Society as a non-profit organisation. It exists to enhance members' opportunities to use their professional expertise as consultants. CCN has online database and telephone consultant referral service to act as a self service consultants resource for potential clients.

Institution of Chemical Engineers
Maintains a list of consultants who provide specialist advice on a wide range of topics including chemical engineering operations, systems and equipment, energy, management, training, safety, loss prevention and environmental protection. The database is searchable by specialisation.

Contains lists of consultants, contract services, instruments, supplies and testing services worldwide with their contact details.
United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS)
The sole national accreditation body recognised by government to assess, against internationally agreed standards, organisations that provide certification, testing, inspection and calibration services.
