The regular user

For this access to the British Library it is recommended that you register with them directly.  This way you can order articles copyright cleared or `research or private study' and borrow books.  You can also use their account facilities and help desk. You can register as an individual user if you wish but you will be liable for mandatory copyright fees and you will not be able to borrow.  You can request your document to be sent by Secure Electronic Delivery (via pdf), post, fax and courier.  For those of you who wish to order via pdf you need to download Adobe Reader version 6 or later versions
