This is the sixth international meeting in a series organised in conjunction with the RSC Industry and Technology Forum's Applied Materials Chemistry Group.

The last edition, in 2007, attracted almost 200 delegates from 18 different countries.

The aim of the meeting is to bring together the automotive, lubricant and chemical industries with academia and provide a multi-disciplinary forum for chemists, engineers and tribologists to share ideas for future developments in the science and technology of fuels and lubricants.
